Oklahoma! Stitcher

Northern Stage, a LORT D 240 seat regional theater in White River Junction, VT, seeks an experienced Stitcher to join for the production of Oklahoma! 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with cutting, stitching, and alterations of assigned costume pieces
• Sew assigned costume pieces 
• Assist with fittings as needed
• Assist with loading costumes pieces into dressing rooms

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years stitching experience preferred
• Experience with domestic and industrial sewing machines
• Knowledgeable in a variety of hand and machine sewing techniques
• Experience in costume crafts such as dying and distressing preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Working knowledge of theatrical safety conventions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• BA or BFA in technical theater a plus.

Job Type: Seasonal, some nights and weekends required

Contract Dates: 6/22/2026 - 7/26/2026

Compensation: $850 per week, paid bi weekly
